Former Bigg Boss contestant Elli Avram might have not made much noise with her debut in Mickey Virus but the Swedish Greek beauty is now all set to make her second innings opposite the king of comedy, Kapil Sharma Abbas -Mastan’s directorial venture, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karu.
An excited Elli gets chatty with Bollywood News Service as she talks about her excitement to be a part of the project and co-star the comedian.
Said Elli, “The moment I read the script, I knew this was something I really wanted to be a part of. I am grateful and feel blessed to be a part of the project.”
Elaborating further on pairing with comedian Kapil Sharma she added, “I have earlier worked with Manish Paul who is also a comedian and now Kapil Sharma. I find Kapil extremely hilarious an entertaining. My interaction with Kapil has been great so far! He is funny as we all know and also very kind. “
Speaking about the challenges doing comedy, given the fact that it is not an easy genre to perform in, Elli affirmed that it has been a challenging in the few days of her shooting experience.
She averred, “I find it difficult to pull off a comedy role. However, in this movie I am not essaying one. I will essay a popstar in the movie and will be doing everything, funny, emotions like romantic and serious. Actually, I dream about being a part of love stories and movies through which I can showcase my dancing abilities as well but I took this up primarily because I never thought I would get a chance to be associated with an amazing directors like Abbas -Mastan. They are extremely humble and down to earth.”
While Elli was seen juggling between the words while communicating in Hindi, we at Bollywood News Service inquisitively questioned the beautiful Elli about having found a new home in India.
Elli quipped, “Ever since I stepped out from Bigg Boss I’ve been preparing myself. I joined Hindi speaking classes which has helped me tremendously. These days I speak only in Hindi with everyone because it feels more comfortable than English!
“Talking about India, I’ve been in love with India ever since I landed. The only thing left to complete it is to bring my whole family here permanent! I’ve been going home every 3 months and my parents visit me often. Infact, I am currently spending some time with my father and I am looking forward to meet my brother and mother during Christmas and New Years!” She added.
Bidding adieu we could not miss asking her if she is hooked to watching the current season of Bigg Boss!
“I don’t get a chance to watch the show often but I have seen a few episodes. All I can say is that I see too much of drama happening in this season compared to the previous one.”
Elli, we wish you luck with your stepping stone in the industry!!!
