India is a land of festival and celebrations and Lord Ganesha is known for his fondness for sweets. And in a country having many cultures, cuisines and over 1000 varieties of sweets, his love for modaks is noteworthy. Year after year, people not only wait for their Bappa to come home but also wait to indulge on the delicacies and sweets prepared on the occasion spread across 11 days.

I will try to control myself and avoid eating too much sweet as much as possible but yes will definitely relish on the delicious modaks.
I really enjoy eating modaks and besan ke ladoos during Ganesh Chaturthi. Along with the bhog offered to the Lord it is also interesting to watch the innovative decorations during this occasion. I am looking forward to meet my friends and relatives and spend some quality time with them.
There is this Bengali dish called kheer kadam which I can say is most loved by all members of my family. Whenever my parents come down during Ganesh Chaturthi, I call for a lot of boxes of the sweet and we eat it.
I prefer eating the staple diet during this festivity. I am completely in love with eating varieties of modaks.
I have a lot of favourite sweet dishes but during Ganesh Chaturthi I only eat modaks. It’s something Lord Ganesha loves the most and so do I.
I am a very religious person and when Ganpati Bappa’s favourite sweet is modak; it has to be my favourite too. I excitedly wait for Ganesh Chaturthi every year and pray to Lord Ganesha and after serving him his favourite modak, I relish on it.
